These naturally rot-resistent cedar coasters are cut from a solid piece of cedar lumber. They have their edges deburred, and are sealed with polyurethane to protect against moisture and spills. *Please note, because wood is a natural product, each product will vary slightly in appearance from the product image. Despite these being sealed, they may inevitably split. This is a force of nature that sometimes cannot be countered. That being said, I personally have some of these that are years old and are holding up just fine. A select few, dont. Thats just the way it seems to be with end grain, as it dries.
